You know, over on the candlepower.com forum, thare's an active trade in MYOG goods. It would be wonderful to see that happen here. Perhaps even under it's own forum section.

バルブ無し形、以前にJSBは、三種類を試作しました。
その結果、ネジ部分は金属が適切と考えています。
それらのプラスチック製は、壊れてしまいました。

このMSRタイプのバルブ構造は、日本製よりも優れている点があります。
日本製のほとんどは、鋭い針穴で流量調整を行っています。
バルブを開き始めると、すぐにガスが出ます
それに対して
これは、側面壁にあけた穴に対して、筒が前後する構造です。
こちらのほうが、微小出力でのコントロールが僅かずつ増減できます。
バルブを開き始めて、さらに開くとやがてガスが出始めます。
そして壊れにくいです。
それはロータリーエンジンのサイドポート形式に、とても似ています。

スノーピークとMSRのバルブには、異なる構造に起因する
本質的な使用感の差があります。
でもそれに気づくのは、ほんの少数の人だけです。

Mark, go ahead and email Yuko. I think his English is better than our Japanese, so use simple grammar and Im sure he can answer. His Finger stove looks ideal to pair with a jetboil to get the weight of that system down. Id like to try one under a Caldera cone, Trek 900 size.

I agree with you that the screw canisters currently available are too heavy, I have been looking at alternatives with not much luck.

MSR valves have a crude valve adjustment design, they are mainly for gas not liquid fuel. I have found that reducing the pressure to the valve gives a more sensitive adjustment, the JetBoil does this.

The valve and the canister are too heavy especially. The valve is not JSB made on an experimental basis three types in shape and in the past. As a result, the screw part thinks that the metal is appropriate. Those plastics make were broken. To ps tony valve structure of this MSR type is a point where it is superior Japan make compared to. The Japanese make majority has done flow adjustment in the sharp pinhole.
