Has anyone here used clothing from foxwear?
They look like a small cottage company that makes very reasonably priced clothing.
I was looking at their power shield tights, basically a softshell pant that's only $65 for winter stuff.

Is it good stuff?

Looks close to melanzana.com.

Thanks for posting on what the fox wears.

Wow, their NeoShell jacket is pretty reasonable as well at $150.
It looks like they have been mostly marketed to and bought by cyclist, but their products would work nicely for backpacking methinks. It appears that most of them are made with Polartec materials. The only thing I really wonder about is the fit of the items, which truthfully can be an issue with cottage and big manufacturers.
Great find, Justin!

Someone could call Lou at foxwear and see what the fox says about the fit.

I have a couple of their power stretch tights in different weights, and am very happy with the fit. It's great being able to get a pair with a long enough inseam without being ginormous.

I have used him in the past. I really like his Power Shield jacket for winter cycling. Blocks 98% of the wind in front and vents through lighter material in back and under arms. Great prices, fit is good not perfect. My wrist are thin and the jacket isn't quite tight enough there. My gloves cover it so not really an issue. BUT I wear this all winter long in some very serious winter weather. Plus I could ask for any array of fabric to block wind, vent, shield rain etc. I am contemplating a Neoshell rain jacket after I study this fabric some more. I have a Mica Marmot, it sucks. I am stunned that people love it. A rain jackets primary goal is to keep rain out, it does not.
If you were wondering about fit, mail a jacket you have that fits you the way you like and ask him to duplicate. That way you will get what you want. He'll mail both jackets back. He is a great guy, real cottage industry. I talked about him here a few years back and no one seemed interested. Seriously, check him out.
For my Neoshell I think I might ask for heavier material on shoulders and the lightest fabric for the remaining areas. He customs anything.
