I tried it on a sleeping bag and pad and it did nothing .
Anyone got this code to work ?
I just tried it on a Marmot Helium on their page and it worked. Make sure you click on the Hit the Outlet link on the homepage or on the menu bar to the far right. It will only work on items there. Looks like a good deal on the helium and hydrogen.

Yeah, this offer was crap. It does not take 40% off, it bumps it up to 40% off (everything in the outlet is already at 30% off). It's really 10% off. Those assholes with their bait and switch tactics!
Considering that the offer is clearly spelled out on http://www.backcountry.com/outlet , I fail to see the bait and switch.
