I am trying to change my avatar but it isn't working. I went into Change My Profile…then chose a file for uploading a new avatar…save. Same old picture. I uploaded from iPhoto. Do I need to make the picture smaller?
Sep 6, 2013 at 4:46 pm #2022507Clear your cache on your computer.
Sep 6, 2013 at 4:54 pm #2022512I tried that and the softball shattered the screen. Now what do I do?
Sep 6, 2013 at 4:56 pm #2022514Totally lost me Nick.
Sep 6, 2013 at 4:59 pm #2022515Thanks, Ken. I will give it a go….
Sep 6, 2013 at 5:00 pm #2022516"Totally lost me Nick"
You said to clear the catch. So I threw a softball at my wife, it missed and hit the computer screen.
Sep 6, 2013 at 5:07 pm #2022521Clean your glasses Nick. I said cache
Sep 6, 2013 at 6:43 pm #2022541Sometimes it just doesn't take effect right away. I'd say wait until you log back in tomorrow and see if the pic has changed.
Sep 6, 2013 at 6:56 pm #2022546Donna,
The solution in Ken's link (F5) works the best for me. Your avatar appears to be a lake with mountains in the background. If there's a more recent avatar than that, then what Doug said.
Sep 6, 2013 at 6:56 pm #2022547I see the new one too Donna.
Sep 7, 2013 at 4:18 am #2022605yep…new avatar. I just waited awhile. Nothing moves quickly on this website. It's Lake Francis in Glacier.
: )Sep 7, 2013 at 7:01 am #2022623That's weird, I see grass in the foreground, a row of trees in the clouds at the rear…
Sep 7, 2013 at 2:25 pm #2022740That is weird. While there is that, there is also water and mountains…
Sep 7, 2013 at 3:56 pm #2022760I think I'm seeing your old avatar but if I followed the instructions above I would see your new avatar : )
I'm just trying to be a comedian
Sep 7, 2013 at 5:08 pm #2022790Moderators, for the love of God please add sarcasm font.

Try to be funny first, THEN try to be a comedian……
Sep 7, 2013 at 5:14 pm #2022793I thought I was being funny
Sep 7, 2013 at 5:20 pm #2022795"I thought I was being funny"
Hmmmmm. This is going to be harder than I thought……
Sep 7, 2013 at 5:30 pm #2022797where's the sarcasm font?
Sep 7, 2013 at 5:32 pm #2022798i've used a disclaimer.
Hope that helps, Einstein.

Sep 7, 2013 at 6:41 pm #2022811Ken continues to prove the age-old promise:
On the Internet, nobody knows that you are a dog.

They still run in packs. Just virtually.
