Went down to my dad's house and was helping him clean his gargae and I found a very lightweight pack frame with straps and all on it. My question is this. Should I made a new pack for it or just strap stuffsacks to it. I watched a video I got at the library on ultralight backpacking and that guy said to just strap your stuffsacks to the frame. What is your opion on this? As long as I have a waterproof cover I don't see a big problem with it. But then again if I was to make a pack for it I don't think it would add much weight to the total pack at all. I guess it will just come down to ease of use and looks more or less.
