I was thinking of doing a quick friday-sunday trip on the west shore. Has anybody been there very recently? Better: can any locals report on how much smoke is in the area? Thanks in advance.

Lots of smoke in CC and Reno the last two weeks. Visibility a few miles at times. Up north in Plumas County it is clear.
