I bought some 1.8oz primaloft to make a SUL sew through summer quilt out of, and I did previously realize that it came with a scrim.
All along I thought the scrim was attached to the primaloft but it is not. It is just a loose sheet.
I am using M50 for the outside and 5mm silk for the inside and am wondering, if I am quilting it to the fabric, do I still need the scrim ?? It seems unnecessary.
Also what is a good spacing width to sew through ??
