Well, not 100% sure,(about 95%)but as of right now, I have some time off in mid Sept, and I'm pretty motivated to do a long trip into the Winds. My focus will be on fishing (large fish, multiple species), and to explore some country. My route spends a few days on and off trail, a few zero days in basins with numerous lakes to fish, and some in between days getting to some other spots. (I have a route mapped out; will share later)

I am thinking of 9 days out, as that keeps me under 30lbs with fishing gear. Are there any others who might be looking to get out at this time of Sept? A partner is more of a safety precaution here; I'm planning on going pretty remote.

I am leaning towards the Scab Creek Trailhead as it seems to be a direct access to the section of the range I'm interested in. However, I'm not locked into any one particular area. I've been into the Winds before and want to see some new country.

I'm in Idaho, near Boise, so if there are any PNW folks, this would be an opportunity to car pool east as well.

Interested in hearing from anyone and any groups who might be in the hunt. Let's talk!

Is there anyone looking to go to the Winds this Sept? I still am planning on going, but could go for a shorter time as well? Go for a week?

I have most of the month of Sept off, and would like to find someone who is interested in going over to the Winds for some hiking and fishing. I'm open to the specific dates, but need to get it going! Is there anyone out there who might be looking to try and get a trip in still this year? Hit me up asap, and lets make it happen
