AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (Reuters) — Dutch students have invented powdered alcohol which they say can be sold legally to minors.
The latest innovation in inebriation, called Booz2Go, is available in 20-gram packets that cost €1-1.5 ($1.35-$2).
Top it up with water and you have a bubbly, lime-colored and -flavored drink with just 3 percent alcohol content.

I think I will stick to my Single Malts thank you.
and i bet the whiskey could serve double-duty in an alcohol store. of course, that'd have to be in a life-and-death situation.
It would depend on the single malt. It might be hard to force yourself to use it.

You're going to get yourself excommunicated from lightitude with heresies like that. You'll have to hike in leather boots with a Coleman flannel lined sleeping bag and a cast iron fry pan in a Trapper Nelson pack :)

That's a bit stronger (4.8%). Both the German and Dutch offerings use a US patent…
