Is anyone else troubled by this?
I am getting frustrated about paying to have such a slow website and forum.
When I go to other sites backpacking.net/bbs it is much faster?
Traffic?
Or do we need an upgrade in the server?

This website is as fast as any that I use…can't tell any slowness at all.
I haven't noticed any issues either.
I haven't had any problems with the BPL site being slow.
Nope—instant loading, here. Perhaps there are other factors responsible than an overburdened server.
instant here too, no trouble
guess it is me………..or my internet connection.
I have DSL and other websites are MUCH faster……..

I think that BPL is doing a comprehensive site redesign and relaunch anyway… (hopefully with proper forum software this time!)
The only slow pages are the ones where people are posting their entire image catalog from their trip..lol.
