He didn't test any heat-exchanger pots. That would have been an obvious addition to his list, I would think. Worthwhile test, nevertheless.
Heat exchanger pots didn't exist in 2001.
(at least they didn't exist for backpackers)
It didn't even occur to me that it might be more than ten years old. Thanks for pointing that out.
