Anyone want to try to tackle the Sierra High Route together as a group in early Sep?

Considering about 50% of it is off trail and a few spots are class 3 climbs it is probably better to do this as a group.

I don't mind going solo but at some point things become dangerous and you have to use the buddy system.

I just happen to have a permit for Saturday, August 31 for 3 for Copper Creek trailhead in Road's End. Fly in the ointment is I have kids and stuff happens that can derail plans, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I have a permit departing Onion Valley Sept 16th. Will be doing a loop that includes Section 1.

Seems to me a group doing such a hard bp trip would be tough to keep together. Gotta think of injuries, fatique. A couple compatible people may be best.

Keep me in the loop as plans develop. I'm probably available and I'd love to. Unless last weekend was a maximum tolerable dose of my company ;-)

Likewise, if anybody else on this thread needs a hiking partner for 15-25 mile days around that time and is leaving from the Bay Area.
