I'm trying to do a little research on a new pack and am looking at the MLD Zip and the GG 'Posa packs. I have been pretty unlucky in finding much information on the zip as far as reviews go. so any information comparing these two or pictures of the pack in action would be greatly appreciated. also, any other suggestions are more than welcome.
I should be getting my new Zip in a week or 2. I've used the smaller, lighter Prophet for a couple of years, now—-best SUL pack I've used ( I've used several).
Pictures and a report on the Zip should follow in a month or so.
The GG Mariposa packs (which are also very good packs) are much larger in volume—-really a different catagory, entirely. Which pack you ultimately spring for depends on the nature and style of your backpacking. Fitting everything in the Zip demands a very considered gear list.
