I've got a compression question….
I bought a pair of Icebreaker 200 weight body fit bottoms for a base layer to sleep in and to wear and hike (should the weather require it) with my shorts.
Damn things had such a short crotch they kept falling off my rear end because they didn't come up high enough. Too many squats have made this a problem for my body structure.
I know Ice Breaker sells a running tight called the sprint legging. My question is, they would suit me just fine for the cold day(s) under my shorts if I needed to hike in them. However, at night, after 15-20 miles, do I really want that kind of compression on my lower body all night?
I'm more curious from a medical and recovery point of view if a compression pant limits blood flow enough at altitude (over 10,000 feet) that they wouldn't be useful? This next trip I go on will be 10-14 days.
Odd question maybe…but this is what I think about as I sit here dying to go on my next trip.
