Hi,
Please comment anyone on durability and general usage of the Stephenson's Warmlite mesh cover on the vent in the slit/snow – any downsides, tricks or special care needed to save the mesh from cracking or something?
Is is Polyester or Nylon mesh, denier?
Coil or tooth zipper on the mesh?
Don't anyone think it would be better to avoid mesh on the outside for any reason?
Asking in relation to my MYOG pyramid project, not to buy this (terrific) tent.
The Warmlite has a molded Delrin tooth zipper on the exterior door and a #3 coil on the inside. The mesh is a very fine denier, I can't tell if its nylon or polyester. I have had no issues with mine. As long as you are not using it for a floor like the ZPacks Hexamids, normal reasonable care is all that is required.
I have read all reviews with no comments on the subject.
