I have a silnylon poncho tarp that has a "clear" spot on it. It almost looks like oil-stained paper. It really does not feel any different to the touch, but I'd like to clean it off. What do you recommend for cleaning and in your experience, what can cause "clear" spots on silnylon (oil, heat such as a stove?) and is it easy/possible to remove? Thanks in advance.

If that does not work try some warm water ans pure soap.
Soap, not detergent.
