Activ-dri down

$11 per ounce for 800 fill activ-dri. "stays dry 50% longer and drys 33% faster" He used to sell 900 fill.

http://wildernesslogics.com/DIY-MATERIALS_c28.htm sells 850 fill down for $6.50

the thru-hiker down isn't that much more expensive. Don't know if you would notice any difference between those two downs, even if all the specs are accurate.

wilderness logistics doesn't say whether their fill power is U.S. measure or European, thru-hiker says theirs is European which is more conservative. If WL is U.S., then the two would be about the same.

The price difference is big if you are buying more than a few oz. You can buy 16 oz for $100 from wilderness logics. From thru hiker that'd be $176. That $76 savings could buy the fabric for your quilt project.

That stinks about Thru Hiker not selling 900 fill anymore. While 900 fill is a little gimmicky, it was great down regardless. 800 fp active dry down doesn't do it for me yet.
