    Hi all,
I’ve listed my preliminary gear list for a dry camp on Mt Humphreys, AZ below. I’m expecting lows of 40-45 F and highs around 80. Hopefully, it’ll rain (I miss rain here in Phoenix).
    Base weight is 4.9 lbs.

Are the following included as carried on your person items? Do you even plan to bring them on your trek?

[note: some might be considered consummables.]

    a small med/first aid/Rx kit (at least for a blister – i know,… light footwear, but still…),
duct tape and/or needles/thread (one slip on some loose gravel, slide a bit, & the G6 might shred)
    compass & maps
bug dope/bug headnet (no bugs where you’ll be hiking???)
personal hygiene (incl. dental care – brush & floss – brush at least is non-consummable)
other chems (Purell, Dr. Bronner’s, LipBalm & sunscreen) – sorry, i keep forgetting, are these consummables?
Photon MicroLight (emergency use at least, e.g., you need to evac at night)
signaling mirror/whistle (you don’t have your Mariposa this time!)
water treatment – Aqua Mira (consummable again???)
    TP – consummable again, right?
what do you dig a cathole with?

Yes, I’ll be carrying most of those – I just listed “Other” to cover all the small stuff (which is pretty much the same as I listed for my sub-5 canyoneering trip).
