I compared the following lights, two from http://www.fasttech.com (an amazing site with really good stuff, and a wide variety of flashlights, etc. )
Fasttech Cree 128g $15 (battery + charger)
Fasttech Headlamp 82g $6
Tec EOS 90g $35
ELite 28g $25
The tec EOS has a positive angle stop and screw for the battery case.
The Fasttect is friction controlled angle and snap case. Not nearly as nice.
But at $6 vs $35.
Weights include batteries. Lithium for the head lights.
The fasttech lights have a spherical lens for focusing.

This one lights up the night. Claim is 960 lums. It gets warm on high beam.
