My wife and I have some time off the first week in July – looks like we'll have 5 days and 4 nights to spend in the Cloud Peak Wilderness (Big Horn Mountains, WY). I'd love some help sorting out our route. We've never been to the bighorns before, but have heard the trout fishing is pretty solid. We'd be looking to do 12-18 miles a day, have some time to fly fish (tenkara) and ideally mix a bit of off-trail travel with as much time above tree line as possible. I've got the trails illustrated map and picked up Molvar's guidebook, but still haven't decided on a route. Any suggestions? Thanks!
