Sierra Design Cloud clothing and DWR

I don't own any Sierra Design clothing. but added a wash in DWR generally donesn't add any weight to the fabric. It also will not make it waterproof. DWR just prevents water from sticking to the fabric, nothing else.

I am also interested in this as I just ordered some of the Cloud pants and the review made them sound great except the non existent DWR. The Golite Reeds that they replace haven't had a good DWR for several years anyways, but it certainly helps them be more comfortable while wearing.
