MontBell Versalite Jacket – Does anybody know if Montbell fixed the issues these jackets were reported to have. I think they were delaminating.
Ive been obsessing over which jacket to replace my Marmot Minimalist with (15oz). Marmot Nano looks good at 8.2 ounces and I get to keep my bombproof Paclite, but too expensive.
Ive read Super Mica has wetted out on a lot of people.
Rab Pulse Pull-On Jacket looks like a winner … damn, thats a HUGE hood… next…
Helium II has great reviews but not sure about using it in snow.
Minimus Smock has flappy hood or is it floppy and my size is gone at Backcountry. looks super fragil though. both helium and smock are pertex shield+, but helium has 30d nylon instead of 15d with smock.
then again, Nano has 15d nylon too.
so does the Rab….
ARRRGGG. is there a pill for this?
(actually, Im leaning towards Helium II … but has anyone used it in snow?)
