Recently I gave my Pacific Outdoors full size mummy Insulmat air mattress to a friend that could put it to a good use, so now I'm in the market to get another one.
First thing I noticed is that Pacific Outdoors extended their line and renamed their products. I take it that the Ether thermo 6 and Ether compact are the same as the old insulmat and insulmat thermo? And then they created the Ether Eco line, build with eco-friendly materials for just 3 times the price…
So anyways, has anybody here had a chance to check side by side the Pacific outdoor Ethers and the Big Agnes air mattresses? Iām interested to know how they compare, specially the insulated ones. Is the insulated Big Agnes any warmer than the Pacific Thermo? Which one packs down smaller? The Pacific one has six chambers, the Agnes eight. Does it matter? Which one seems to be more durable? Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
