Hi,
I’m looking for a source (prefer online) of data that would give carried weight, calories and calorie breakdown (fat, protein, carbs) for a range of trail foods. An excel file would be perfect (one can dream right?), but any tabular format could work. I’ve been searching prior threads here but can’t seem to find a link. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

One option would be to build you own. I know that in terms of nutrition databases for common foods, you should try looking things up via MyFitnessPal, which is an online service/mobile app which contains the largest (as far as I know) database of food nutrition info. If you have the app, you can scan the barcode on the product and it'll pull up the nutrition info. You can also search via their website. Their product is geared toward weight loss, but the database is vast, so it could help in building a spreadsheet of your favorite trail foods.

"Calorie King has all the data too."

This looks like a pretty good tool to me. I just ran a few known(by me) items thru its search function, and the nutrition info was pretty much spot on.

Thanks, Greg.
