I realize they are fairly new poles and am wondering if anyone has seen, handled or actually used them.
I am also wondering if there is a 3rd party jack that would fit them. Does anyone have experience using a jack with Komperdells?
I continue to roam around the trekking pole maze. I have researched the damn things to death for a year and feel as indecisive as when I began.
I have been using cheap aluminum poles to date for hiking (but have used carbon fixed length ski poles for skiing for years).
I hike primarily in rocky backcountry river beds and the poles take quite a beating. Despite this I have settled on going with carbon poles. I am considering the GG LT4s or Yanas, but like the design of the Komperdells Expeditions, if not the weight.
Any help greatly appreciated.
