Cool trip Craig. I wish we had somewhere a little closer to my house that I could do a quick trip like this – but driving an hour+ each way (minimum) usually discourages me unless I am gone the whole weekend.
Some of us folks in Norcal have been planning a SUL overnighter sometime in July in Emigrant Wilderness – dunno if it's possible for you to get away for a weekend or if the driving is feasible but I'll be posting about it soon in the trip announcements forum.
