Well he will probably be found as that's a lot of incentive for people to go out and look for him. A month is a long time though. :(

Possibly not.
If he isn't just missing in (under) the snow, to be found after the thaw, than he will probably be off the side of the rolling tops. People sometimes attempt to drop down to the valley below under adverse conditions, but the sides are extreme alpine scrub for an awful long way. It looks easy – you can see the bottom in places, but getting there is often just not physically possible. People have attempted this before.

If my guess is correct, there is a lesson here. You may be very experienced in one set of conditions, but a total novice in different conditions.
