Anyone have experience with this jacket? Looks promising for a UL/SUL rain shell.

B-DRY JACKET EVO

• Rock Climbing, Hiking
• Siliconized B-Dry Evo ripstop nylon fabric is completely wind and waterproof
• Taped seams prevent leaking
• Zippered chest pocket
• Helmet compatible hood that rolls into a Velcro tab to prevent flapping
• Adjustable elastic cords seal the bottom hem from drafts

The B-Dry Evo Jacket is the ultimate rainshell: lightweight, compact, waterproof and windproof. The exclusive B-Dry Evo ripstop nylon weighs just 41 g/m2 and has a silicon treatment on the outside to shed water and add strength. It also has a polyurethane coating on the inside giving it a water column rating up to 1500 mm. The B-Dry is a great emergency rainshell to carry on climbs and hikes in the backcountry.

It's essentially a silnylon type fabric. With the PU coating on the inside it's actually closer to a tent's rain fly. It's is completely waterproof and will NOT breathe. They used to have a similar jacket but much lighter. At 6.7oz it's in the realm of many Pertex Shield+ rain jackets (OR helium II, Rab Pulse, etc) which are breathable and just as waterproof. If you can find it cheap it may be an ok acquisition but expect it to be rather steamy on the inside in most temps.
