Yes that correct folks :)
While this is not strictly Backpacking related post, I need some ideas from people into MYOG.
I have a Motorcycle overpants which is made fromk Cordura 750 and has a internal mesh lining.

I'm planning to put some additional hip protection which is nothing but layers of rubber based sheets stacked to absorb and spread the impact in case of an unfortunate incident.
I want to sew a internal pocket attached to the lining on both sides of the pants where it comes in contacts with the hips and put the armor inside, I plan to put a velcro tape to open and close the pocket so that u can remove the armor when its time to wash the pants.
What is the easiest way to get this done, main criteria is to make sure the pocket is tight so that the armor doesn't move when seated inside. I have no sewing machine so is it possible to hand-sew the pocket.
