The WM Megalite, and borderline sizing

I find WM sizing to be pretty accurate in general. It depends on your sleeping style, though. If you toss/turn a bit you'll appreciate the girth of the long. Also, if you like to stretch at all, the long is nice. I find the 6' model is usually right at the border for someone your size as when your feet naturally rest forward they take up more room.

Personally, I'm 5'10" and 175lbs and usually get the long, including WM for the extra girth (I'm a side sleeper) and to stretch out a bit. The few extra ounces are usually worth it for me.

I'm 6' but only 150 lbs and found the Western Mountaineering "regular" to be too snug length wise…so had to send it back and trade for the 6'6" version. I wouldn't, in any circumstance, recommend the "regular" for someone our height.

I'm 6'4, slim build, and the 6'6 regular Apache/Ultralite size fits perfectly. If I were stockier or broader I would find it snug width wise.

I'm 5' 10" and weigh 185 lbs. My regular WM Megalite is just fine for me but for your size I'd definitely go with a Long megalite. Well worth the einy bit more weight for a comfortable night's sleep.

I had mine overfilled and it's now good to 20 F. but it's SO full you can no longer shake down from top to bottom or the reverse.

My regular Megalite is large enough to permit me to wear my down sweater and insulated pants inside with no crowding.

Also for hot nights I fully unzip my bag, turn it over and hook the foot of my bag over the end of my Prolite regular mattress and use the bag as a very comfortable quilt. I can hang a leg out easily to cool down.
