New pack from ULA- the Ohm

Brian! Where the heck is your new panel-loading pack???

my camera has gone AWOL, but i think i may have snapped a picture of it. i'll try to find it (i better, i leave on an overnighter in about 30 minutes!) and share a picture, if i have one. imagine a larger Amp with external stays and a beefier hipbelt (with pockets). it looked very, very sweet and inspired gear lust in me, which is hard for a pack to do.

edit: ok, located the camera. sorry to get anybody's hopes up, but it looks like i failed to get any pictures. look at the Amp, embellish it in your imagination by making it bigger and adding the stays & beefier hipbelt, then start fantasizing about the price tag. ;)

How about Femto or Atto? Both describe entities that are either *very* fast or *very* light.

(Yes, I know zepto and yocto are faster and lighter, but one sounds like a slurred lighter, the other a hairy Nepalese animal;)

Yeah….I'll get some pics up soon. Colleen summed it up well though. Frame support is essentially the same as the Circuit. Hipbelt is similar to the Conduit. Unlike other sub 20 oz framed packs, the suspension hoop ties directly into the hipbelt so the suspension is 'active' as opposed to passive. This means actual load transfer from hip to shoulder and not just added weight for backpanel stability.

Anyway, 3,300 cu in, 18 oz for a Medium size.

As for the names…I'll just say it is so much easier to come up with them when you don't have to! I shoulda just stuck with P-1, P-2, etc…

Sometimes it's good to be different. The P1 & P2 weren't.
