After shortening both my original neo and by xlite this weekend I have a fair amount of scrap. I'd like to make a pillow and sitpad. Anyone know where i can get some kind of valve to glue(?) in?

Rick,
These are the best I've found that do not require a sealer. Seamgrip helps. Will not be as pretty as the valve that comes factory from Thermarest, but very functional.

I agree with Ryan about the Airtime kite valves. They stick securely onto smooth surfaces with their own pressure-sensitive adhesive, or you can glue them to surfaces that aren't smooth (like fabric) using Seamgrip or something similar. I've used them for two MYOG inflatable sleeping pads and for a watertight "pole port" in a groundsheet. Note that these aren't your typical pooltoy valves. They are big, and, once installed on your inflatable, they will not be inconspicuous.
