Hey…hoping you could guys could chime on a new sleeping bag. I tried out the WM summerlite and EMS Mountain light 35 this afternoon. Was very impressed with the loft of the WM. The EMS bag was just released and apparently has their version of drydown, which i thought might be a nice feature.
I sleep on my side at home and tend to roll around a lot. My current bag is a 15 yr old sierra design bag thats 2.5 lbs or so and 19 oz fill. Looking to drop some weight and get something to use from May/June-Sept in the rockies, sierras, tetons, etc.
I'm also considering the montbell super spiral 3 and the megalite. I didn't feel super cramped in the summerlite, but thought i might enjoy being able to spread out in the SS or megalite. No where around me has them in stock, so I'd need to order them to try them out.
All 3 are similar weights, but I suspect the WM bags are the warmest. Any thoughts on which bag to go for?
Summerlite is 1 lb 3 oz
Megalite and EMS are 1 lb 8 oz
UL SS 3 is 1 lb 6 oz
I'm 5'10 175 lbs
