I've posted on BPL a number of times that these butane/propane mix canisters last me a week. That's with a fair bit of simmering for rice or pasta dinners.
But all those weeks were spent in the Rockies, at altitudes of 10-12000 feet. I had never tried them for a week back home in New England.
Until now. Only five days, meaning four morning boils and four longer evening boils.
Weighed the canister before leaving to be sure it was full.
So from now on, even in the Rockies, a small extra cannister will be carried.Sorry if anyone was misled.
