My wife and I are looking at backcountry baking options… We've got a Zelph GoTo stove (as well as a Zelph StarLyte) as our main cooking stoves; we pick the stove based on the trip and how many people are going.
I'm guessing for baking that the GoTo with the simmer ring would work fairly well, but does anyone have experience with the GoTo simmer ring for baking? I'm curious about burn times and fuel consumption…
I'm also wondering if the fuel ring can reduce the power enough to make dry baking realistic or if we need to try a water baking setup?
Any advice/thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks,
tim
