This might be a good option for those in cold, incessantly wet environments who have had problems with immersion foot. Being from ArcTeryx I'm sure they will cost a buck or three!

May 7, 2013 at 11:47 am #1984118$170 suggested retail. Ouch. 4 oz. Doesn't say, but I assume per sock.

May 7, 2013 at 12:26 pm #1984133I've used the Rocky Gore-tex socks for years and much prefer them to a Goretex lined shoe. Also adds considerable warmth without overheating, at least for me. Rocky has 'em on sale:

May 7, 2013 at 2:47 pm #1984182Rocky has the market cornered. I'm surprised no cottage makers (that I know of) are making eVent socks.
May 7, 2013 at 3:28 pm #1984188No eVent because the fabric's breathability is heavily dependent on keeping the fabric clean. You would generate a lot of body oil against the eVent which would minimize its benefit. Event is also not as abrasion resistant as Gortex.
