Hi,
Looking at buying a gigapower for solo use, partly so I can cook in the tent went it's rough out and partly to try something different to my caldera cone :). Obviously there are lighter stoves, but the gigapower seems to win the CO race.
Roger Caffin estimated that the CO performance stems from the horizontal flames, which I can buy. However, how wide are these flames? I'm looking for a compact solo pot (600-900ml) and like the look of the tall skinny Snow Peak and Evernew nested sets with the little mug at the bottom… however will the width of the flames wrap around these and waste heat?
I guess if the answer is yes I'll just go the Evernew wide 900ml and a separate mug..
