I just removed the zipper off of a sleeping bag but I need to sew it back up. I know next to nothing about sewing and will be heavily supervised. I have to pick up some thread today for this project. Is any ol' thread ok or should I look for something in nylon?

Thanks Anna! I'll talk to the crew at the fabric store to see if either of those two threads (polyester vs nylon) have an advantage over the other.
