Inov-8 Trailroc 245 – sizing advise

Sizing of the Trailroc 245 seems to vary between people quite a bit. Depending on shoe manufacturer, I wear something between 10-11, normally 10.5 (Eur44). This is the size I wear with the TrailRoc series, Flyroc 310, and the RocLite 295. Some of the either RocLite (like the 390 boots) I had to go up one size, to get a toe box that was weight enough and volume for my vapor barrier socks.

Lots of people here have talked about going up 1/2 a size… typically related to foot volume or space for the heel. I haven't run across anyone who has needed to go up a full size, but then, foot volume can vary quite a bit.

I'm a size 10 I have a pair of x talon 190 s and they are comfy. I also have a paiir of trailroc 245s. When I first tried them on my first impression was uh oh these are tight. I just did two days in algonquin park highland trail and now i dont even notice – they feel fine. My feet are not wide though. . I also find the "tighter" fit works better going over large rocks or bedrock.

Tight is good for rock climbing :) Not sure if I can climb with these…
Anyway, I've measured my foot:
Length: 10 1/4 inch
Width: 4 1/4 ~ 4 1/6 inch (not quite sure)

What size would you suggest for me?
I've paid $108 for the pair + 30 for shipping + ridiculously $70 for taxes and cares.
Now i need to ship the pair back which is another $15 + $57 + god knows what more.

This result in more than $270. Twice the price.

So I'm really really don't want to spend more on resending it another time.
