I'm in the process of ordering a custom inner for the duomid I also have on order. The fact I don't have the tent yet is why I'm asking this question :)
It seems from photos that because you stake out the middle of the bottom edges and also the mid walls that the actual shape inside isn't actually very rectangular. As a result when you put a solo inner with a straight edge against the wall there's a bit of dead space behind the net. Not a big issue, but presumably somewhat avoidable with a custom net that takes this into account by having 5 sides and sticking out a bit in the middle (like nets for trailstars or SL3s).
I'd really like some input from some duomid owners. My guesstimate from photos is that I could bring the center of the net out about 3 inches, but I'd prefer to under do it than go to far…
(might be worth noting I've order a cuben mid, so I don't need to be concerned about the fly sagging into the net)
