I'm in the process of making a 2.5 apex quilt with nobul2 fabric for the inner and shell.
Just wondering what people who have sewed this fabric before have used for thread and needle size-Thank you
Apr 24, 2013 at 8:55 pm #1980282The two common answers I found when researching a MYOG quilt were:
1) Use the smallest needle you can, such as microtex sharp 60/8
2) Gutterman's poly threadI followed the advise and they worked great.
Apr 25, 2013 at 11:00 pm #1980648The last 2 quilts I made with Nobul 1 on the inside, the Nobul 2 may not feel as soft next to the skin, just my prefrence.
The needle was a Microtex sharp #12 with Guterman all purpose poly thread.
