There are a lot of Daiso stores in Southern California. They have an "Outdoor water bag" that is like a platypus but they are much lighter and come in so many sizes such as 3.9 liters. They are $1.50.

Just thought the ultralight community would love them..

Good to know. I frequent the Daiso in Gardena (near Marukai). You can find some good deals there like alcohol squeeze bottles, small sewing kits, etc. Love that place.

For those of you who aren't able to get this deal (assuming it's a local chain) Walmart carries 1L pouches that fit my Sawyer squeeze filter and weight 30g. Other options are eBay for a 5L pouch that costs around $8 if I remember correctly.

I'd still say that OP has the best deal on these to date though.

I'm headed to Daiso this weekend. PM me if you want a couple…I can pick some up and mail them out (for a small shipping fee). Hopefully they have them in stock!

I saw the walmart one and also some other ones I found at the dollar store that has a carabiner on it. They were small. The walmart one seems much bulkier than the ones at Daiso.

I bought several 16 oz knock-offs in designer colors with carabiners at Whole Foods in Monroe, WA for $.99, figured they'd make good stocking stuffers.

most if not all plastic items at the dollar store off-gas.You get what you pay for…i would be very careful about using a cheap bottle for drinking…i buy name brand items that are on discount such as jnj dental floss or dishwashing soap and wd40 and thats about it.Dollar stores used to sell quality brand overstock now theymostly have cheap crap made for them to be sold as cheap crap.
