It's not a bargain in my book. The equinox bivy is nearly the same without the bugnet for nearly half the price..now that's a bargain.
How about the Titanium Goat bivy, silnylon bottom and Mil-Spec DWR top. Regular size $40 + $20 for bug netting, 5.35 oz with bug netting. Large size $50 + $20 for bug netting, 7.2 oz with bug netting. Even has extras like a grosgrain loop and elastic cord to pull the fabric off your face. Now that's a "bargain" even better than Equinox!
I agree there are other bivies that are cheaper. I was only relaying the name posted on the Oware website. This is what they are calling their bivy not a comment I added.
