I need some good approx 2mm dia braided nylon accessory cord. I prefer orange. Don't need Dyneema or Iron Wire or reflective. Anybody know where to find some?

Amazon has some 1.75mm to 2.2mm throw line for arborists. Comes in orange and yellow. Called "fling it" and "zing it."
Unfortunately only in long hanks of 100+ft but still fairly inexpensive for what it is. They also have 200ft of orange dynaglide for $40 which looks identical to ironwire.
One local store for me sells cord manufactured by Atwood Rope Mfg. in 125-foot spools. The stuff that I purchased is marked as 1.8mm, and I got white, yellow, and orange. I measured it, and it seems more like 1.18mm.

I was looking for the same thing just the other day….hope this helps. Price is right.
Also, Sterling ropes sells 2mm line. You can get it in spools or by shorter lengths.
linuxfree,
That is the same stuff I've been using. I get the reflective variety for my guyline tie outs. Works well with line loc 3's too.
Nice that you can get a small section without having to buy 100's of feet.
The line I ordered from the link below arrived. Nice line. Weighs about 2.4 ounces for 100 feet.
Not too keen on the way it works with linelocs, however. It holds if the cord is taut but runs loosely through the lineloc when slack.
Even when taut it is hard to make a slight adjustment to the line running through the lineloc. As soon as the lineloc is tilted to reduce the bite on the cord the cord will run through the lineloc like prunes through a goose. I prefer a snugger fit between lineloc and cord.

What's the goose doing there, for heavens sake????
Anyhow, known problem, change the linelocs to ClamCleats, CL266. Much more reliable.
Cheers
I use LiteTrail's Dyneema, it comes in high-vis yellow. It's designed as a throw-line, so it doesn't tangle easily and it's very light. Looks good to me!
