Coughlans fuel tabs

These coin tubes look ideal and being clear is nice so you can see what is going on.

M&Ms come in a similar diameter flip-top tube with a pretty secure lid. I used one to transport someone's ashes to China (he was kind of a geography and poly-sci geek) and it was convenient for surreptitiously scattering him at the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square (LOTS of security cameras there!).

Of course, you have to eat the M&M first.

They are .25 oz so 1/2 the size of the "normal" .5 oz Esbit; Esbit offeres a smaller tab but I haven't used it yet. Quarter size seems about right.

I don't perceive a difference as far as the smell or resulting residue between the two. A ziplock bag has worked for me to keep the odor contained but I'm sure that container would work too. They fit into an altoid tin fairly well on their side also.

They work perfect for 1 boil for me. Also they are way cheaper than esbit. M&m mini plastic candy container works perfect.
