I'm wondering if they have a raised heel. Their website says "minimal-drop flat EVA midsole"….but I don't know how to interpret that for sure.

Anyone use these shoes?

I wear them as everyday shoes. My wife got them at a silent auction with a lot of other stuff. The heel is not very thick at all. They also run quite small. Mine are 11.5 and were barely wearable until they broke in (I usually wear a size 11 running shoe). I guess approach shoes being tight is a good thing for climbing. The sole at the heel is very narrow and rounded, so you'd sort of roll back and forth if you were standing just on the heels. I personally don't think they'd be comfortable at all for hiking.

Thanks for the info, Avery. Is the heel taller/thicker than the toe area….or, in other words, is the shoe flat from heel to toe?

I wouldn't wear them for hiking (got my Vivobarefoots for that) but rather everyday use when it was too cold to wear sandals or go barefoot.

I would guesstimate that the heel–>toe drop is something like 3-5mm. Close to flat.

If you want something warmer than sandals, I would strongly recommend a pair of Sanuks over these. Especially if you don't have narrow feet.

Thanks. Are the Sanuks flat? I couldn't find that info on their website.
