Just a first impression from my first trip using the Terra Nova Solar Competition 1 – (hereafter referred to as TNSC)

Weights:
pole set: 274g
inner-fly: 389g
outer-fly: 336g (2 guy lines installed out of 5 possible – 2 is minimum i'd say)
basic weight: 999g
and now the "extras"….
pegs needed / max possible: 10 / 13 – i used MSR carbon Core pegs (5,5g each – 55g total)
TNSC pole-set bag: 9g
TNSC tent bag: 21g
Old Hubba HP peg bag: 7g. Peg bag is build in the TNSC pole-set bag, but is too short for the Carbon Core pegs. It's build to match the titanium pegs that comes with the tent, but these are the 2g-type-pegs and not worth using!
So, weight incl. typical extras: 1091g
Space inside: I used a Large Xlite NeoAir, and had plenty of space in length and width, never pushing inner-fly against outer-fly. Much wider at head than foot end. But it's not a tall tent. Pushing my head against the wall when sitting up, but not a real "problem". Compared to the Hubbpa HP, it is much wider when lying down, but not as tall as the HP.
Vestibule: It's small but big enough for shoes, bag and stove. HP has a bigger vestibule.
Ventilation: It's good. It has a full net door, and a big mesh panel above the head. Rest is ripstop similar to the HP – very silky-smooooth! I really like this construction. The net door makes it non-claustrophobic, and the large percentage ripstop keeps spin-drift at bay. The HP is very claustrophobic in daylight.
Pitching: You can't raise outer-fly first/alone without buying a separate footprint. This can be done with the HP. But otherwise it's as easy as the HP. It uses minimum 10 pegs for a nice pitch – that's a lot. If i remember correctly HP uses minimum 6 for a good pitch.
Conclusion so far… don't really know yet! I like it better than the HP though, which i think is a pretty good tent.
