For those interested in stripping fractions of an ounce:
Outdoor Research Echo Ubertube
http://www.outdoorresearch.com/en/accessories/echo-ubertube-32411.htmlGo from 1.3oz to 0.7oz – more than 0.5oz saved! Not listed, but ~same dimensions as "the" Buff.
:D
Mar 12, 2013 at 7:30 am #1964664Have you used this? I'm curious as to how it compares to "The Buff," particularly in the warmth department. I'd switch for that price to shave that weight, if it performs similarly.
Mar 12, 2013 at 9:35 am #1964702I have an Ubertube, and use it for cold morning runs (mid-upper 30's) and it works great for that. It breathes well, and is thin enough that it isn't hard to breathe through while running. If your on the move, I'm sure it should be warm enough for some cold weather hikes.
It's not soft fleecy on the inside though, but its comfortable.
