Hey guys,
So there's something I have been noticing over my last few backpacking trips. I work in the Grand Canyon and it's wayyyyyy more noticeable when I have to carry a back-breaking load of weight. But it can still be an issue with my lighter set up as well. I'm a tall and really slim guy with essentially no hips. This always results in having to cinch the hell out of my waistbelt to keep the weight off my shoulders (again more of an issue with heavier loads). I also have issues with the waist belt loosening during the day.
What I found on my last trip was that the waist line of my pants can at times be right under the hip belt creating uncomfortable rubbing or result in the pants being pushed down by the belt.
Has anyone ever seen a lightweight hiking bib or suspenders integrated into hiking pants. The only thing I can seem to find are cold weather bibs and that's definitely not what I need. Either some lightweight pants or lightweight softshells with suspenders or a bib that would allow me to forgo my much needed belt and hopefully solve the rubbing problem I have around my hips.
Strange request perhaps but just throwing it out there to see if there's a pair hiding deep within the interwebs.
Thanks!!
