How well does the Tumalo line perform? And how often do you need to replenish the DWR finish?
I'm eyeing the jacket and pants combo on GoLite's website. Right now they are on sale and seem hard to beat.

I've been using the pants, and have liked them. I did e-mail the company and suggest that on the pants with the ankle zippers, that they consider adding a second small pocket to the left thigh–if I'm hiking hard, I've found opening the pocket on the right thigh to be a useful vent. I have found them to be very comfortable, and wear them over a baselayer for snowshoeing, can be in them all day and not feel like I'm in a sweat bath. I've just washed them for the first time, have owned them for about 2 years, so the DWR has really held up.
If I had to do it over, and wasn't completely focused on weight, I might consider the full-zip pants, for extra ventilation. You know what they say about breathability. These aren't too bad, and for the price, I don't think you can beat them.
